Aliv Seeds Laddoo

Aliv seeds (Garden cress seeds) are tiny powerhouses of nutrition.

INGREDIENTS-

1 cup Aliv Seeds
1 cup Coconut water
2 cup Coconut (grated)
2 cup Jaggery
2 tsp Ghee
1/4 tsp Nutmeg (Jaiphal) Powder

PROCEDURE-

  1. Soak the aliv seeds for 1 hr in coconut water.
  2. Mix grated coconut and jaggery in soaked aliv.
  3. After 30 minutes cook the mixture in a pan with ghee.
  4. Gently mix everything together and continue to cook them over low heat.
  5. In couple of minutes, mixture will come together and starts to separating from pan.
  6. Turn off the heat and add nutmeg powder.
  7. Gently mix everything together and roll them into small balls.
