INGREDIENTS-
Cutlet Ingredients-
- 2 cups Chickpeas/ Chole ( soaked overnight)
- 1 small Onion ( Finely chopped)
- Fistful Cilantro
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- ½ Red chilli
- 2 tbsp wheat flour
- Salt to taste
Garlic Aioli Ingredients-
- Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3-4 tsp Lemon juice
- 2-3 minced Garlic Cloves
- Salt and Pepper to taste
PROCEDURE-
Make the Aioli-
Combine the Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic , salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Whisk well and set aside.
Make the cutlet –
1. Coarsely ground the chickpeas.
2. Combine grounded chickpeas with onion, cilantro, cumin powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, whole wheat flour and salt.
3. Mix well and form cutlets.
4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Place cutlets and cook for 5 mins per side, or until golden brown.
