Moong Dal Chila

A plant- based protein rich chila. Incorporating moong chila into your diet can contribute to a well- rounded and healthy eating routine. Being easy to make , it provides a convenient and nutritious option for quick meal or snack.

Ingredients-

  • 1 cup Green moong dal ( soaked overnight )
  • 1 Green chilli ( finely chopped )
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Ginger, Garlic, Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking
  • 1/2 cup Coriander leaves

Procedure

  1. Soak the dal overnight. Drain off the excess water and grind the dal with corrainder, ginger, garlic and chili and add additional water if needed.
  2. Add cumin seeds and salt and spread to form thin pancake on a hot non-stick tawa. Use 1/2 tsp oil to grease the pan.
  3. Allow to cook for 2 mins and turn over.
  4. Serve with corrainder mint chutney.
