Here are some of my favorite evening snacks. Tasty bhi… healthy bhi?
1.Roasted Makhanas – Great source of calcium and protein.
2.Roasted Channa – Fantastic for weight watchers, helps maintain ideal body weight and a great source of good quality protein with fibre.
3.Wheat Puff – Light, tasty and a low calorie snack.
4.Jowar Puff – Jowar being ‘gluten-free’, regulates sugar levels, adds good protein and is high in fibre.
5.Puffed rice (Murmura)- Light and a versatile snack. Can make dry bhel, diet chivda etc.
6. Apple slices with peanut butter-
Apples and peanut butter taste fantastic together. Apples are high in fiber and polyphenol antioxidants that improve gut health and reduce heart disease risk
7.Cucumber slices with hummus- Cucumber and hummus go well together. Hummus is made from chickpeas, olive oil and garlic
8. Banana Oats Smoothie- A great wholesome snack post workout in the evening with combination of oats, vegan milk, nuts, seeds and banana
