My Homemade Kaada Recipe

Our kitchen is our best pharmacy. My home made Kaada recipe which works wonderful for cold, cough or viral.

Ingredients-

3-4 Cloves
1 inch Cinnamon bark
3-4 whole peppercorns
1/4 tsp ajwain
1/2 inch grated ginger
5-6 leaves of tulsi
3-4 strands of saffron ( kesar)

Procedure-

  1. Take 3 glasses of water in a pan. Add all the above ingredients and boil until 3 glasses reduce to 2 glasses on slow flame.
  2. Cover the pan and leave for 15-20 mins. Strain the kaada and drink warm.

For best results consume Kaada twice a day. 1 glass on rising and 2nd glass before sleeping.
