Puffed Amaranth Ladoo’s

This ancient grain is rich in fiber and protein, as well as many important micronutrients.
In particular, amaranth is a good source of manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium and iron.
Amaranth also called Rajgira in Hindi is a gluten-free grain.
To add sweetness to these Ladoo’s I have used dates and anjeer.
Next is Pumpkin and Flax Seeds which are tiny seeds packed with healthy fats and nutrients.

2 Cups Popped/Puffed Amaranth
1 Cup Dates
5-6 dried Anjeer
3 tsp roasted Pumpkin seeds
3 tsp roasted Flax Seeds
3 tsp roasted Sunflower seeds
3-4 tsp Cocoa Powder
1/2 cup Almonds
2-3 tablespoon of Coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil
2-3 tsp honey

  1. In a food processor add in the pitted dates, anjeer, almonds, seeds, cocoa powder, olive oil and honey
  2. Process it until it forms like a lump and the dates are almost chopped completely.
  3. Now add the mixture into the Amaranth bowl and mix well
  4. Prepare bite size Ladoo’s or make energy bars of the same and serve this nutritious Ladoo’s to your loved ones
    Super yummy and healthy?
