Soya chunks is high plant-based protein, low in fat and calories and hence a great option for vegetarians who are looking to incorporate high protein in their diet. Can be combined with rice or roti for either lunch or dinner.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of soya chunks
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomato, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dhaniya powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- Boil the soya chunks in water for about 5-7 minutes or until they become soft. Drain and squeeze out the excess water.
- Heat oil in a pan and saute the chopped onions until they become golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste . Saute for a minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the oil separates.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder,dhaniya powder , garam masala and salt. Mix well.
- Now, add the boiled soya chunks and mix them with the masala, cook for 5-7 mins on medium flame.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Soya Chunks Bhaji is ready to be served!
